About the Artist

I am a Connecticut native but currently live outside of Atlanta, Georgia USA.  I studied animal science at the University of Georgia and have a passion for the veterinary field.  My life took an unexpected turn after a nerve injury affected the use of my right and dominant hand and I was unable to continue working my previous job.  In 2018, I began painting with my left hand as a positive outlet.  Although initially very challenging, I found great fulfillment and a new sense of purpose, and was inspired to pursue art as a career.  My work is based on personal travel experiences and wildlife encounters, and holds significant meaning to me.  I specialize in natural landscapes and animals, including pet portraits. I create each piece with heavy body acrylics, using small brushes and individual strokes to achieve fine detailed realism.  It brings me such joy that my paintings have traveled to homes across the United States and overseas!
